Uploading your dashcam footage to RoadFootage is simple. Once your footage is available, you can upload it through your account and start earning points when it helps others.
Before You Start
Make sure you have:
- A RoadFootage account (sign in here)
- The footage file(s) from your dashcam (MP4, MOV, or AVI format)
- A rough idea of where and when the incident occurred
Steps to Upload
- Sign in to your RoadFootage account at roadfootage.com.au.
- From your dashboard, click Upload Footage.
- Select the video file(s) from your dashcam.
- Enter the date, time, and location of the incident. This helps buyers find relevant footage.
- Add a brief description of what was captured — just a sentence or two is fine.
- Review and submit your upload.
Once submitted, your footage will be processed and made available on the platform. You’ll be notified when it’s ready.
Earning Points
You earn points when a buyer downloads your footage. Points can be redeemed for cash or used on the platform.
- Unredacted footage earns more points.
- Redacted footage earns fewer points.
